Beginners II - Hymns

In this course, we will continue learning the basics of Latin grammar and syntax, as well as enrich our vocabulary through a selection of some of the most elegant hymns from the traditional Roman liturgy (mostly from the Brevarium Romanum). We will also discover the principles of Latin poetry by studying the various meters used in the hymns to better understand their beauty. A basic knowledge of Latin is required (Beginners I). Extra help from teacher possible. Class taught in English.
